The sound of music

Does the name Jerry Kamit ring any bell? Guess not.Yesterday, i was like " who the heck is Jerry, Jerry what?", when he got on stage to perform live at Karnival Keluarga Petronas Bintulu. Who would care, who this guy was when backstage, Misha Omar, SPIDER, Ramli Sarib are putting on final touch to their makeups, warming up their vocals, final tweaks to their musical instruments ready to perform their ultimate best on stage.


Well, apparently, last night's concert resulted in at least one album of his, sold. Yupe, u got it right, i just bought 1 of his album after getting hooked by his magnificient performance with the Sapek.


The Sapek is the official musical instrument for the Malaysian state of Sarawak. It is played similarly to the way rock guitarists player, only, it's played a little slower. And that piece of instrument my friend, produces the most enchanting music to my ears.
